Policies, Terms and Conditions

By enrolling with us you acknowledge the terms, conditions, policies and the release of liability for participating in music and movement classes at tuneBugz! at all locations where classes are offered.

Version: Oct 29th, 2025

_____*NEW* MONTHLY PRICING : tuneBugz! classes are now offered as a payment plan/Family Membership that is monthly and utilizes an auto-draft tutition model. Monthly membership enrollment begins November 16th 2025 and will be applicable to our Winter "Sticks" term starting in January 4th, 2026. All registrants pay 1st and last months tuition to get registered and start in Jan,  plus a $25 registration fee for *NEW* families.

_____PRO-RATE POLICY: Pro-rate is calculated for the month based on how many classes remain in the month at the time of registration.   _____  CALENDAR of CLASSES: Every year the full year of classes are planned in advance -  we offer 38 weeks of planned classes but families are also able to attend makeups and bonus classes as much as they like as long as they are scheduled in advance online.     _____NON-REFUNDABLE BANK AND CARD PROCESSING FEES: In the event a refund is granted, bank/card processing fees will not be refunded. Full refund will be 'less processing fees' that are set by the bank and the card you used.     _____CLASSES MUST MEET 6 FAMILY MINIMUM: Due to the economics of holding a class and the educational value of group classes/social learning we have a delicate balance - we must have 6 families enrolled at all times or we may need to cancel the class and offer you a 2nd or 3rd choice option. Sometimes classes fizzle out when naps shift or we turn the clocks back or move them forward... Please be mindful that classes need 6 enrolled to avoid being cancelled.   _____CLASSES HAVE 12 FAMILY MAXIMUMThe max number of families (children and grown ups) is 12 families/14 children. The average class size is 9 families - 12 childlren.  _____CLASS HOLIDAYS: We do not run classes on some federal and religious holidays and during some traditional public school breaks but we also DO hold class on some holidays so that school age siblings can attend class with younger siblings as a treat.  Please view your individual class schedules carefully on the Parent Portal to see which holidays your class will be observing so you can plan ahead for seasonal  breaks and attend your makeups with each session's material / songs before the break.    ____ACCLIMATION:  Acclimation to our classes is a natural process that happens over the first few weeks/months of class. Doing a sample1 time is good for parents to understand our program methodology and experience the flow, the fun, the songs and the families but in reality it takes most children take 2 to 3 weeks to fully acclimate into the weekly class routine and get comfy. Please commit to at least 2 to 3 months to give them this chance to warm up! Every child acclimates in their own way over time, talk with your Center Director if you are concerned of course but staying engaged for a miniumum of 10 weeks is strongly recommended to fully acclimate to the program.  _____MASK POLICY:  Anyone may wear a mask at any time for any reason including teachers. _____PAYMENT POLICY:  All payments are due 1 month priort to the first day of class unless otherwise arranged. Payment plans may be requested via email to [email protected]. _____ REFUND POLICY: No refunds are available after you are confirmed into your class.  _____ PAUSE/CANCEL POLICY/MEMBERSHIP ONGOING: All families are now automatically enrolled on a recurring monthly membership registration that is ongoing. Families may drop/pause/cancel membership at anytime with 30 days written notice.  Please email us at [email protected] to pause/drop or cancel.  Please be mindful that monthly fees are paid in advance, and are non-refundable and are based on a 38 class yearly pro-rate spread evenly over 12 months.  Your last month of classes is collected at the time of registration to make membership as flexible as possible around appointments/vacations and for when children age out of our program and move on to pre-school etc. _____ABSENCES AND MAKEUP CLASS POLICY: Families agree to use the online make-up scheduler for making up missed classes.  Classes are offered as use or lost so makeups are unlimited space permitting and require online scheduling.  _____CAMERAS/PHONES POLICY: Please respect every family's right to privacy and please DO NOT bring phones into our sacred song circle. Cameras/phones must be turned OFF and put away during music class. Parents and caregivers are asked to be totally engaged in the activities for the whole 45 mins.    We know many nannies, parents, grandpareents love to snap a pic or try to get a video here and there - and we love when we are featured in your social media posts too! However, this is NOT APPROPRIATE DURING CLASS. Our phones are a dopamine disrupter for adults and children! Phones iterfere with the bond we are creating and the type of learning we are facilitating. Please save picture taking for either before or after class and please make sure to only photograph your own child - others for sure WILL NOT WANT OR ALLOW their child's photo taken or posted on social media - this is a big NO NO! Phones have become an increasing distraction/disruption to bonding efforts in our parent/child classes as technology becomes more amazing and easy to use but please - while in our classes - be fully present and in the moments with your child - without the phone. _____FOOD/SNACKS/DRINKS POLICY: Food, snacks and drinks are NOT PERMITTED  in any of our studios. Water bottles, baby bottles and/or nursing only - please.

At tuneBugz! we are committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in our community and classrooms.

We are committed to continuing activities that improve the quality of our staff and music programs such as:

-recruiting the best and brightest teachers from diverse set of backgrounds, from diverse universities and arts orgs

-offering financial support through our scholarship programs to be inclusive of families for which our prices are out of reach due to income inequities and low and median income families being priced out of affordable housing and factoring in the increasing tax burden in Austin
